Meiyo Electric Co. Ltd. (hereinafter, our company) will comply with the “Information Security Policy” as the basic policy of our information security activities so that we can always gain the trust of our customers and business partners, as well as society at large.

In order to protect the information assets of customers, etc., handled in the course of business and our company’s information assets from various threats,
and to fulfill our corporate social mission, our company has established this basic policy and information security management regulations as its Information Security Policy, and will implement the following initiatives.

1. Our company will take all possible measures to secure the information assets of customers, etc., handled in the course of business,
and will always give the highest priority to the prevention of risks such as loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage.
2. Our company will make the most of our information assets and implement security measures appropriate to their importance.
3. Our company will clearly establish an information security management system within the company as an organization related to information security.
   Furthermore, each division will have a person in charge of information security management and will implement, operate, and promote security measures for information assets through a company-wide organizational system.
4. Our company will continue to inform and educate its officers and employees about information security, and will make every effort to disseminate the Information Security Policy.
   All officers and employees handling information assets shall comply with the Information Security Policy and fulfill the duties and responsibilities set forth therein.
5. Our company will, taking into account technological advances and changes in the business environment, continuously conduct risk assessments of information assets from various perspectives,
and information security shall be maintained and improved by reflecting it in the Information Security Policy and various measures based on it.
6. Our company will endeavor to ensure information security by conducting periodic audits of the status of various information security operations,
and take appropriate corrective measures as necessary.
7. Our company will protect the order of Internet society and contribute to its sound development.
8. Our company complies with laws, regulations, and other norms related to information security.
