1936 Establishment of the Meiyo radio electric (MUSEN) company by SHOJI SUGINO.
1948 Changed the trade name into the Meiyo Electric Co.,Ltd.
1952 Development of the electric thermometer for the vessels.
1956 Development of the vibration-prool and high temperature resistible type of thermo resistance bulb.
1963 Development of the monitoring and measuring device.
1964 Appointed by the Delense Agency as a specilied maker.
Development of the remote control system for marine engine.
1971 Completion of the trim and depth gauges for the submarine being researched on commission ofthe Technical Research Department of the Defense Agency.
1973 Acquisition of the type approval for the platinum resistance thermometer sensor from the classification society Lloyd’s Register of shipping (LR).
1974 Development of the vibration-proof resistance thermometer sensor for gauging high temperature of marine engines.
1975  Acquisition of the type approval for the wide angle DC ammeter and the frame-type DC ammeter from the classification society LR.
1976 Acquisition of the type approval for the electric pressure transmitter from the classification society LR.
Development of the platinum resistance thermometer sensor for detecting high temperatures and acquisition of the type approval from the classification society Germanischer Lloyd (GL).
Acquisition of the type approval for monitoring and measuring device from the classification society LR. and Polski Reiester Statkow (PRS).
1977 Acquisition of manufacturing authorization for the electric thermometers used in naval vessels from the Delense Agency.

1982 Accepted as a membership for the association of enterprises for the study of these developments of the medium and small enterprises promotion public corporation in Shizuoka prefecture.
1983 Acquisition of the type approval for new type pressure transmitter from NK .
1984 Development of the diesel engine perfomance monitor and cylinder inside pressure sensor(MIP)system.
1985 Acquisition of the type approval for monitoring system  SMN-F2 from NK.

1995 Acquisition of the approval of ISO 9001:1994 Quality Management System from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
1996 Started to manufacture the semiconductor type pressure transmitter.
1998 Acquisition of the type approval for pressure transmitter,the platinum resistance thermometer sensor and the thermocouple from the China Classification Society (CCS).
Acquisition of the Conformic Europeene (CE) marking for semiconductor type of pressure transmitter.
1999 Acquisition of the type approval for intrinsic safety temperature monitor from NK.
2000 Development of the electric field sensors.

2003 Development of the Intelligent Speed Relay with digital indicator.

2005 Meiyo celebrates 70th anniversary.
